Data Availability

Each manuscript must contain a specific statement about "Data and Materials Availability." This statement should provide details on the location of the data supporting the findings mentioned in the article, including, where appropriate, links to the datasets that have been publicly archived and were analyzed or generated during the study.

Statements on data availability can be presented in the following ways (or through a combination of these if dealing with multiple data sets):

  • The datasets generated and/or analyzed during the current study are available in the repository [NAME], [PERSISTENT WEB LINK TO THE DATA SETS].
  • The datasets generated and/or analyzed during the current study are not publicly available due to [REASON WHY DATA ARE NOT PUBLIC], however, they can be requested directly from the corresponding author.
  • The datasets used are in the public domain, and if used in your article, must be properly cited. The reference to the dataset should include a DOI or a URL.
