OnBoard Knowledge Journal is committed to promoting academic integrity and originality in research. In order to maintain high ethical standards and prevent plagiarism, the journal implements a strict plagiarism check policy using the iThenticate tool.

Mandatory Plagiarism Check

All manuscripts submitted to OnBoard Knowledge Journal are subject to a plagiarism check using the iThenticate tool before being considered for editorial review.

Acceptance Criteria

Articles submitted to the journal must present a similarity percentage, according to the iThenticate tool, of 0-20% to be considered for review and publication. Manuscripts exceeding this range may be rejected or returned to the authors for revision and correction.

Author Notification

Authors will be informed about the plagiarism check results provided by iThenticate. In case significant similarities are detected, the authors will be notified and asked to make the necessary corrections before the manuscript is considered for editorial review.

Confidentiality of the Process

The information related to the plagiarism check will be handled with the utmost confidentiality. Only members of the editorial team involved in the review process will have access to the iThenticate results.

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and must refrain from submitting plagiarized material. Submitting a manuscript to OnBoard Knowledge Journal implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Review Procedures

In cases of significant similarity, the editorial team will carry out additional procedures to assess the originality of the work and will make decisions based on the results of the investigation.
